Debasis drives the new business development at Graviss. He spearheads business idea generation and drives the commercialization of the idea, creation of business plans,and sourcing and manufacturing the products through the sales team and local and international distributors. He also handles vendor negotiations, vendor identifications, along with marketing activities and maintaining sales.

A part of the Graviss Group for 10 years, Debasis has 30 years of work experience overall. At Graviss, he offers his expertise in full-cycle business generation, along with business development across India, the Middle East, the UK, and Europe.

Over the years, Debasis has played a key role in expanding the Kwality brand from ice cream to three major categories- namely, paneer, vegetables, and basmati rice. He is also responsible for setting up local manufacturing projects for ghee and ice cream in the UK and is presently expanding the Kwality Foods business in the UK.

Previously, he used to work with GCMMF Ltd (Amul). He also had a stint with IFFCO-UAE
He holds a post-graduate degree in Management from IRMA. In his spare time, he prefers to keep busy tending to his indoor garden and aquarium. He also loves reading and travelling.
